Overview

At the Sauhardya Welfare Foundation, we are committed to improving the health and well-being of communities across West Bengal. Our Health Project encompasses a range of initiatives aimed at providing accessible, quality healthcare to those in need, particularly in rural and underserved areas. Through blood donation camps, rural health camps, and various other health programs, we strive to make a meaningful impact on public health.

Blood Donation Camps :

  • Regular Drives: Organizing regular blood donation camps to ensure a steady supply of blood for hospitals and clinics. These drives are held in collaboration with local hospitals, educational institutions, and community organizations.
  • Awareness Campaigns: Conducting awareness programs to educate the public about the importance of blood donation and dispel myths and misconceptions.

Rural Health Camps  :

  • Medical Check-ups: Providing comprehensive health check-ups, including screenings for common ailments, chronic diseases, and nutritional deficiencies.
  • Specialist Consultations: Offering consultations with specialists such as pediatricians, gynecologists, and ophthalmologists to address specific health needs.
  • Medicines and Treatment: Distributing essential medicines and providing basic treatments free of cost to those who cannot afford them.

Maternal and Child Health Programs :

  • Prenatal and Postnatal Care: Ensuring that expecting and new mothers receive proper medical care, including regular check-ups, nutritional support, and safe delivery services.
  • Vaccination Drives: Conducting immunization camps to protect children from preventable diseases and promote long-term health.

Mobile Health Clinics :

  • Healthcare on Wheels: Deploying mobile medical units equipped with diagnostic tools and staffed by healthcare professionals to reach remote and inaccessible areas.
  • Health Education: Providing education on hygiene, sanitation, and preventive healthcare practices to improve overall community health.

Health Awareness and Education  :

  • Workshops and Seminars: Organizing workshops and seminars on various health topics, including nutrition, mental health, chronic disease management, and lifestyle diseases.
